Established businesses might go about this by doing market research - either by themselves or via an agency. But the world of research is not very well adapted to the needs of the startup community, it is far more focused on corporates with big budgets. Customer IQ is re-imagining and re-engineering market research to fit the startup world

We offer a range of products and services, tailored to the stage of each client we work with. For example, we have an online course available for those who wish to run their own market research but don't have the knowledge and confidence to do it. For more established startups (to the point of scale-ups) we offer surveys, online discussion groups, customer interviews and many more research tools. For all clients, we use technology to streamline processes and reduce costs.
We're developing a range of online products, led by our online course 'How to Run Research'. We also provide project delivery, designed in line with client needs and costed according to scope. We can also provide free advice and on-going support in a subscription model. We will work according to what the startup business needs.
We're a small, founder-led business. We 'get' the struggle of starting, developing and growing a business. We also focus our attention on helping startups and have developed better ways of servicing their needs versus the established research industry.
Grow the size of the business, build a bigger team so we can help more startups to succeed. We love that startups are largely aiming to solve problems that exist but we dismay at the high level of failure of startup businesses. We think we can help more startups find more success!
